Course details

Firearm Instruction, Responsibility, and Safety Training is Afro Tactical's response to the American public’s need for a firearm orientation program for new purchasers. FIRST Steps Rifle is designed to provide a hands-on introduction to the safe handling and proper orientation to a new owners rifle. This course is at least three hours long and includes classroom and range time learning to shoot your personal rifle. At the end of the course student will receive an NRA certified FIRST Steps Course completion certificate.

Course topics include:

Safe gun handling
Rifle model parts and operation
Ammunition and shooting fundamentals
Cleaning the rifle
Continued opportunities for skill development
