Course details

This one-day course (Approximately 8 hours) led by an NRA certified instructor that takes place in a traditional classroom and range environment located in Lumber Bridge, NC. Students will receive a copy of the NRA Basics of Rifle Shooting handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, and NRA Marksmanship Qualification booklet. Students will also complete live fire training and take a Basics of Rifle Shooting Student Examination and receive a course completion certificate.

Course topics include:

Rifle parts, cleaning, and operation
Range rules
Shooting fundamentals
Shooting from the bench rest, prone, sitting, standing and kneeling positions
Continued opportunities for skill development
